I think I am thawing our like every one else is after this winter. It has been snowy, and cold and now as we head into spring everything starts looking fresh and full of life. Sales and Marketing Position @ Ilex Designs

Ilex Designs is looking to add a very dynamic and creative sales/marketing person to our staff. The position will be primarily to help with sales in the events and corporate floral realm where we are looking to expand our presence. Happy New Year to all our faithful clients and friends!

We wanted to take a moment to thank you all for making the Sips and Stems concept a success, and introduce you to our new concept for the new year. As introduced in our segment on Chronicle last Holiday Season.

Our new Sips and Stems will be an open seat Design and Demonstration Class. Of course with the wine and cheese that everyone has come to expect. It is our way of letting you get to know us and what we do a little better, and hopefully take some knowledge away with you while having a great evening.

Our Inaugural Sips and Stems will take place February 9th
6:30 to 8:30 PM with a theme of "Color-trends - Fashion
Meets Floral". Seating is limited so an RSVP will be required. Seats are $50. per person.

We will be putting up a calendar of upcoming Sips and Stems in the next few weeks, and each one will have a different theme. Some of our themes will be Designs for Entertaining, Creating a Spring Planter, Windowbox 101, and The Perfect Hostess Gift.

Sips and Stems are open seated events so you can purchase

multiple or individual seats. You can also book a Private Sips and Stems - great for a Shower, or girls night out!

Here's to a new year! What will it hold, what will be the trends and styles of the year? Whatever it holds I can't wait to start creating. I think it will be the year that we continue to rethink our priorities and focus on the smaller things in life. After all isn't less more?
